New Vietnam highway construction starting

Construction work is starting on Vietnam’s Van Don-Mong Cai highway. Located in Quang Ninh Province in the north east of Vietnam, the 80km highway will feature two lanes in either direction. Costing US$471.6 million, the project is expected to take nearly two years to complete. Construction work is starting on Vietnam’s Van Don-Mong Cai highway. Located in Quang Ninh Province in the north east of Vietnam, the 80km highway will feature two lanes in either direction. Costing US$471.6 million, the project is expected to take nearly two years to complete. The work is being carried out in joint venture by Cong Thanh Transportation and Construction Corporation, Van Don Sun JSC and Long Van Infrastructure Investment and Development Co. The project is expected to help develop tourism in the coastal province, which is famed for its scenic islands and beaches.
