A new bypass project worth US$435.6 million is being suggested for Ayodhya in India’s Uttar Pradesh State. The plans are being put forward by India’s Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH).

The 68km bypass route runs through India's Lucknow District, Basti District, and Gonda District. The project is being proposed under the PPP model and the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is handling the bidding process for the work. Should the timeline be adhered to, the project will be complete within 30 months.
