New Russian bridge project planned

A new bridge is planned for Russia, which will span the Sheksna River in Cherepovets. The bridge will measure 1.13km in length and the project also involves building 7km of connecting roads. The bridge will be built in Russia’s Vologda Region and the work has a pricetag of nearly US$248 million.     Construction work for the second stage of the Chusovaya Bridge in Russia is commencing. The contract for the project is being handled by construction firm Stroytransgaz. The new bridge will span the Chusovaya River in Russia’s Perm Region. The contract is worth US$260.3 million and was awarded by a division of the VTB Group, the Perm Concession Company.
