New route for UAE highway project

Work on a new road project worth US$102.6 million is now underway. In all the highway will be 140km long, connecting Al Faya, Razeen and Al Quaa. The work is being carried out by contractor Musanada. The project is being carried out in two stages, with the 88km stretch from Al Faya to Razeen and a 52km stretch from Razeen to Al Quaa.

  • Loans from Europe will fund highway works in the nation of Georgia

    Loans from the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the EU will fiancé highway work in Georgia. The funds will be used to pay for the construction of the high-speed motor road running from West – East across Georgia. The EIB will give a long-term preferential credit worth €170 million, while the EU will provide a €20 million grant. As part of the project, a four lane highway measuring 52km will be built from Samtrediya – Grigoleti, while the 16km section Grigoleti - Kobuleti stretch will be repaired.
  • Two Polish road projects moving aheaaad

    Work on two sections of the S17 highway in Poland will now go ahead following the granting of permission from the local authorities in the Mazowieckie area. In total the two stretches of the S17 will measure over 25km long. One of the stretches will connect Gonczyce with the ring road around Garwolin and will measure 12.2km. The other stretch runs from Lubelskie through Mazowieckie to Gonczyce and is 13km long. The work is being carried out by the contractor Budimex. Work on a further 95km stretch of the S1
