New road for Russia’s Krasnodar Region

A new 23km road project is planned for Russia’s Krasodar Region. Construction of the new road project is expected to commence in 2025. The new route will cost an estimated US$225.s million to build. Included in the construction of the new route will be new interchanges and multi-lane overpass stretches.

    Slovakia’s national motorway company NDS has confirmed the D1 motorway between Hubova and Ivachnova is on schedule to be completed by mid-2022. Work on the 15km stretch of road – effectively a bypass for the town of Ruzomberok –was started in 2013. But a major landslide in 2015 halted work, pushing back completion from 2017 to 2022 at the latest estimate.   • Major road widening project for Cambridgeshire

    Work to upgrade the A14 route in Cambridgeshire now looks set to commence at the end of 2016. The A14 will be widened along a 33.6km stretch as part of a programme of works to increase its capacity.
