New road link for Nigeria’s Bauchi State

A new road project will improve transport connections in Nigeria’s Bauchi State. The 175km road project will cost US$65 million to carry out. Also planned in Bauchi State is work to upgrade a 2.5km stretch of road in the state capital, Bauchi, which connects to the main road heading north eastwards to the city of Kano, itself the state capital of Kano State.
