New Polish expressway project planned

Work is commencing on the S3 expressway project in Poland. Costing €355 million, the expressway will connect Bolko with Kamienna Gora Polnoc. A consrtium headed by Porr will handle the work, which is due for completion in the second half of 2023. The project will be complex as it will included two building tunnels as well as 12 bridges and flyovers.

  • Croatia rejects complaints over Peljeski Bridge tender

    Croatia’s public procurement body has rejected complaints by all three international consortia over a winning low tender for the Peljeski bridge. Bids for construction of the four-lane 2.4km bridge were submitted in the middle of last year. The bridge will connect Croatian territory by traversing the Adriatic Sea’s Mali Ston Bay.   • Slovakia road projects – bidding opens, funding found

    Bidding is underway in Slovakia for the R2 Krivan-Mytna expressway project, which is being handled by the local highway firm NDS.
