New bridge will connect Singapore and Malaysia

Plans are moving ahead for a new bridge to connect Singapore and Malaysia that will improve transport links. The project is being evaluated at present by the Malaysian and Singapore Governments. Should this project get the go-ahead, it will help improve traffic flow between Malaysia and Singapore. Two links connect Malaysia and Singapore at present but traffic volumes are increasing and the governments of both countries see the need to provide greater capacity. The new link will connect Changi in Singapore

Plans are moving ahead for a new bridge to connect Singapore and Malaysia that will improve transport links. The project is being evaluated at present by the Malaysian and Singapore Governments. Should this project get the go-ahead, it will help improve traffic flow between Malaysia and Singapore. Two links connect Malaysia and Singapore at present but traffic volumes are increasing and the governments of both countries see the need to provide greater capacity. The new link will connect Changi in Singapore with Desaru in Malaysia via the Malaysian town of Pengerang.
