Upgrade work is also planned for the road connecting Aliade to Makurdi. This also is an important link as there is heavy traffic between Onitsha and Enugu to the south and Makurdi, as well as Jos lying further north. Work on the Otukpo-Taraku -Aliade road is being carried out by Rockbridge Construction. Work on the Otukpo-Ninth Mile Road is also being carried out Rockbridge Construction.
