New Brazil road tenders opening

Two major road tenders are opening for bids in Santa Catarina in Brazil during 2019. These will be for the BR-101/SC highway and BR-470/SC highway. The latter will involve a connection to an airport and is costing US$143 million to upgrade and widen the existing route.

    Plans are being formulated in Brazil for second phase of the country’s logistics investment programme, PIL. This looks set to include 15 road sections, 11 of which are still in the project development phase.     The tender process is opening in Israel for work to widen the Ayalon Highway in Tel Aviv. The project involves widening the route by adding a lane in either direction.
