Moscow’s three year road building plan

Plans are in hand in Moscow and the surrounding area for the construction of 135km of new roads. This road programme is expected to cost in the region of US$888.5 million to carry out. One of the key projects is for the construction of the Central Ring Road, which is due for completion in 2025. By 2035, the construction programme should have seen the completion of some 700km of roads.

    A programme of road repairs is due to commence in Russia’s capital, Moscow. A budget of US$ 615.5 million has been set for the works, which will be implemented throughout 2019. The majority of the funding is from the Moscow region. The plan calls for 2,400km of roads to be repaired, with an additional 20km of new links to be built.
