Morocco highway bidding to open

The Moroccan Ministry of Equipment, Transport and Logistics is opening the bidding process for a series of highway projects. This first round of bidding will be for the prior assessment of the construction and operation of highways that will be put to out to contract under public-private partnership (PPP) model. In all, some 618km of highways are planned, along seven different routes.

  • Multi-billion dollar Vietnam transport projects to be supported by ODA of Japan

    A total of 29 transport projects costing a combined US$7.42 billion, including the Phan Thiet-Nha Trang road, will be carried out in Vietnam from 2013 until 2016, according to the country’s Ministry of Transport.   • Planned Paraguay PPP project postponed

    Bidding for Paraguay’s route II and route VII Ypacarai-Pastoreo road expansion project has been postponed. Instead Paraguay’s Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC) says that the bidding will commence on 29th June 2016. This delay follows requests by some participants in this process. However, this is the fourth time that the opening of the bidding for the project has been delayed.
