Mexico’s Puebla State has road plan under development

Mexico’s Puebla State has a road infrastructure plan under development. In all the work is expected to cost US$612.6 million, with the schedule seeing construction carried out from 2018-2019. The planned works include the La Galarza-Amatitlanes bypass, which will connect Puebla and Morelos. and a distributor road at Periferico Ecologico ring road. Mexico’s Puebla State has a road infrastructure plan under development. In all the work is expected to cost US$612.6 million, with the schedule seeing construction carried out from 2018-2019. The planned works include the La Galarza-Amatitlanes bypass, which will connect Puebla and Morelos. and a distributor road at Periferico Ecologico ring road. Work is being carried out on a 13.5km elevated road forming part of the Puebla to Mexico highway. Plans have been drawn up for upgrades to the road connecting Tepeaca with Zacatepec and for the road between Tepeaca and Tecamachalco. Puebla’s road development programme has been planned by the Secretariat of Communications and Transport (SCT).

    The Mexico’s Secretariat of Communications and Transport (SCT) has confirmed that a total of 1,474 road infrastructure contracts were granted in the first half of 2015.     Work is now underway on a new highway in Mexico’s Baja California State. The Mexican Secretariat of Communications and Transport (SCT) has invested US$148.7 million in building the new Cabo San Lucas-San Jose del Cabo highway.
