Major problems have been seen on the M3 motorway link in Mauritius. A section of the motorway has collapsed, causing delays and frustration for drivers using the route. Insufficient drainage has been noted as one of the problems afflicting the M3 motorway between Ripailles and Valton.

    Delays are afflicting work on the Zaragoza-Caucasia road upgrade project in Colombia. The work was originally due for completion in December 2018 but is now being finished in the second quarter of 2019.     The recent collapse of the Chirajara Bridge in Colombia has been attributed to design flaws. The Colombian Government has said that it will not pay for rebuilding the structure.
