Major Polish highway projects being planned

Work on a series of major road projects is now gathering pace. The Polish General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) is signing contracts worth over €753.55 mIllion for the construction of two S7 dual carriageway sections. These will form part of the Gdansk-Warsaw route. Czech firm Metrostav will build the 20km section between Koszwaly and Nowy Dwor Gdanski. And Budimex will construct the 19km section between Nowy Dwor Gdanski and Kazimierzowo.

Work on a series of major road projects is now gathering pace. The 3519 Polish General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) is signing contracts worth over €753.55 mIllion for the construction of two S7 dual carriageway sections. These will form part of the Gdansk-Warsaw route. Czech firm Metrostav will build the 20km section between Koszwaly and Nowy Dwor Gdanski. And 3302 Budimex will construct the 19km section between Nowy Dwor Gdanski and Kazimierzowo.

GDDKiA is opening the tender for the construction of a 15km section of the A2 highway between Lubelska and Minsk Mazowiecki. The work will be handled in two sections, of 5.6km and 9km in length. Companies interested in the investment must submit their tender offers by 12 November 2015th.

And GDDKiA is also looking for investors interested in the construction of the second lane of the S1 dual carriageway on the 9.7km section between the Lotnisko and Podwarpie junction. The deadline for submitting offers has been set for 19th November 2015.
