Major new bridge project for China

A massive bridge project in China is due to commence shortly. The work involves the construction of a bridge that will be nearly 20km long and the project is expected to cost close to US$672 million in all. The bridge will run from Xiangzhou district and connect through to Zhuhai city. The structure is expected to be ready to carry traffic in May 2017.

Can Gio Urban Tourism, and Trung Nam Construction Investment jointly worked on the plans for the bridge.

    A new budget projection has been set for Russia’s landmark Kerch Strait Bridge project. A close analysis of the various cost factors has now set the project’s pricetag at US$3.57 billion. Originally the project was expected to cost in the region of $1.5-3 billion but the challenging conditions and the tough winter climate have led to increased costs. The bridge will be 4.5km long and link Russia’s Taman Peninsula with the Crimean Peninsula.
