A new highway connection will improve transport between Krasnodar and Kerch in Russia. The project has been awarded to the contractor Transstroymekhanizatsiya, a subsidiary of Mostotrest.

The contract is worth US$888.6 million for the 68km highway. The first section will be from Bely to the A-289 interchange. This stretch is intended to be ready for traffic by 2024. The second section of the highway will link with the planned Krasnodar Far Western Bypass.
