Key road link in South West Germany

A new road link has been constructed that connects the German municipalities of Weil am Rhein and Lörrach. The road has taken seven years to construct and includes a 347m long tunnel. Located in the South West of Germany, the road actually passes through Switzerland and has cost around €100 million to construct.

    Construction work is now commencing for a key stretch of highway in China, with the work costing some US$3.47 billion. The 73km highway will connect Langfang City and Baoding City, which lie to the south of Beijing. This new highway section will also connect the Beijing-Taipei Highway with the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macau Highway. The work is being carried out under the PPP model.
