The Muntinlupa Cavite Expressway in the Philippines is now carrying tolled traffic. The route was open for a month toll free for its initial operations. 6838 Ayala Corporation has the concession for the route, while 2643 Egis supplied the traffic control equipment and has a subcontract to operate and maintain the technology on the expressway for seven years. The MCX expressway was previously called the Daang Hari – SLEX Link Road. This 4km long toll road links the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) to the Daang Hari road in the south of Metro Manila.

The route is comparatively short but is fairly complex, with 13 lanes. It provides a seamless connection with the busy SLEX expressway serving all the provinces south of Metro Manila, carrying some 240,000 vehicles/day. This concession forms part of the public private partnership (PPP) programme of the Republic of the Philippines and was the first one to be awarded.
