Kazakhstan highway rebuilding deal agreed

Plans are now being drawn up for the rebuilding of a 114km stretch of highway in Kazakhstan. The A-22 route in the Kostanay Region will be upgraded and improved, boosting both safety and capacity for drivers. This stretch of highway lies in the north of Kazakhstan, close to the border with Russia. The upgrade work will commence towards the end of 2018 and will cost US$149 million.
