Innovative bridge planned for Brunei

A feasibility study is now in hand for a 10km bridge in Brunei to link Temburong with Brunei-Muara. Ove Arup & Partners has been awarded the contract for the bridge study, a deal worth some US$2.1 million that is expected to take 18 months to complete.

A feasibility study is now in hand for a 10km bridge in Brunei to link Temburong with Brunei-Muara. Ove 1419 Arup & Partners has been awarded the contract for the bridge study, a deal worth some US$2.1 million that is expected to take 18 months to complete. When complete the 10km bridge will form part of the 30km road between Temburong and Brunei-Muara. A cost estimate for the 10km bridge and the entire 30km road connection has yet to be revealed however.

    Construction work on Indonesia’s Bekasi-Jakarta toll road has recommenced after a break of close to 20 years. The work on the 21km Bekasi-Jakarta toll road was originally started by Kresna Kusuma Dyandra Marga (KKDM), a consortium headed by state-run Waskita Karya, with a 60% share in the package.
