Indonesia’s new capital toll road connection will be complete in 2024.
The new toll road being constructed to connect with Indonesia’s new capital city should be ready for traffic in mid-2024. Once the road opens to traffic it will allow major reductions in journey times for drivers.
Indonesia is building a new capital due to the many environmental issues that Indonesia's current capital, Jakarta, suffers from. Flooding is an increasing problem in Jakarta while it is also notoriously congested and suffers poor air quality.
