Local contractor STR Epito will build a new road connecting road number 47 with the M35, with work starting in July 2016 and due for completion in early 2018. STR Epito’s contract is worth €15.9 million.

Local contractors Duna Aszfalt and Hodut meanwhile will build a 20.2km road connecting the road number 481 with the M35 motorway in a deal worth €149.6 million. This project is also starting in July 2016 and due for completion in early 2018.

However Hungary is facing a fine from the European Commission due to restrictions imposed for a number of road project tenders.
