Honduras road projects now commencing

Work is starting on important road connections in Honduras. The work will see a series of projects being carried out in the west of the country. The Honduras Government has set a budget of US270 million for the road works. Key links to be improved include a stretch of road from La Entrada to Santa Rosa and a section between La Entrada and Copan Ruinas.

    Honduras is planning a series of major road improvement works. The focus of this road upgrade work will be improvements along the country’s Corredor Pacifico. The work is being planned by the Honduras Government and is expected to cost in excess of US$244.5 million. The work will be complete by 2019 and the route will link La Paz with Santa Cruz, running through Cochabamba.
