Germany A7 Autobahn route benefiting from widening

Widening work is underway on the A7 Autobahn stretch in Germany’s Schleswig-Holstein area. The project to upgrade the 65km stretch of the route should be complete towards the end of 2018. However there is concern over the safety of the section being widened as the number of crashes grew from 740 in 2016 to 1,060 in 2017.
