Four-lane India highway project secured by IRB Infrastructure

The National Highways Authority of India has awarded a US$529.67 million (INR 32 billion) Yedeshi-Aurangabad NH21 four-lane highway project in India to India-based IRB Infrastructure Developers (IRB Infrastructure). With a concession period of 26 years, the project is scheduled for completion in 910 days.

The 292 National Highways Authority of India has awarded a US$529.67 million (INR 32 billion) Yedeshi-Aurangabad NH21 four-lane highway project in India to India-based 2700 IRB Infrastructure Developers (IRB Infrastructure).     A US$452 million highway upgrade project will be carried out in India by the contractor, Ashoka Mallasandra Karadi Road. This firm is a subsidiary of Indian company Dilip Buildcon. The work involves upgrading a section of the existing NH206 route and widening it so that it features two lanes in either direction. The highway stretch being worked on is from Shivamogga to Tumkur. The contract was awarded by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).

    Work is starting shortly on the construction of a new highway in India’s Rajasthan State. The highway project will be carried out by the contractor GHV (India) and the package of works was awarded by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). The work involves building a stretch of the NH-925A route that runs from Gagaria to Baori Kalan and on to Serwa-Bakhasar. This 197km section of NH-925A will form part of the highway from Sata to Gandhav, with the work costing close to US$175 million.
