Doha route upgrade now commencing

Work is now commencing on the 2.5km East Industrial Street Extension Upgrade Project in Doha. Costing US$200.55 million, the work involves widening the route so that it has three lanes in either direction, instead of just two at present. The project also includes building three new intersections to take the place of three roundabouts and adding a number of underpasses for pedestrians and cyclists. The project also includes building three new intersections to take the place of three roundabouts and adding a number of underpasses for pedestrians and cyclists.
