Dagestan rural road development programme

A rural roads programme will develop Dagestan’s transport links, helping boost its economy. Some 135.5km of roads will be rebuilt and repaired. A budget of US$113 million was used in 2016 to rebuild 78km of rural roads and 19 bridges in the country during 2016.

    The Uzbekistan Government is increasing its investment in road infrastructure. This will rise by a factor of 1.4 to US$454 million in 2013 compared to the spending in 2012. One of the main projects will be for repairs to Uzbekistan's national highway.
