Construction of key China highway link

Construction work is now commencing for a key stretch of highway in China, with the work costing some US$3.47 billion. The 73km highway will connect Langfang City and Baoding City, which lie to the south of Beijing. This new highway section will also connect the Beijing-Taipei Highway with the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macau Highway. The work is being carried out under the PPP model. The route will feature four lanes in either direction and will allow maximum travel speeds of 120km/h.

Construction work is now commencing for a key stretch of highway in China, with the work costing some US$3.47 billion. The 73km highway will connect Langfang City and Baoding City, which lie to the south of Beijing.
