China’s US$3.85bn Ya'an-Kangding highway to be completed in 2017

The construction of China’s US$3.85 billion (CNY 23.59 billion) Ya'an-Kangding highway will be completed and put into operation during 2017. Meanwhile, the environmental impact assessment (EIA) report for the 133.97km highway project is said to have been completed.

    Volvo Construction Equipment reports sales up 30% in the first quarter of 2017 thanks to improving market conditions in all regions except South America.     The Chinese city of Kunming has increased spending on transport by 28.86% to almost US$1.8 billion (CNY 10.99 billion) in the first half of 2013, compared to the same period of 2012.
