China’s Shaanxi Province is building expressways

A series of major expressway projects are under construction in China's Shaanxi province. The five expressways will improve transport links for six cities. Costing US$1.46 billion, the 75km Hancheng-Huanglong expressway should be ready for traffic in 2022. The 124km Xunyi-Fengxiang expressway is costing $2.12 billion and should be ready for traffic in 2020. A series of major expressway projects are under construction in China's Shaanxi province. The five expressways will improve transport links for six cities. Costing US$1.46 billion, the 75km Hancheng-Huanglong expressway should be ready for traffic in 2022. The 124km Xunyi-Fengxiang expressway is costing $2.12 billion and should be ready for traffic in 2020. Due for completion in 2021 is the 51km Ningshaan-Shiquan expressway, a project costing $1.12 billion. The $2.58 billion Yanchang-Huanglong expressway measures 152km long and should be ready for traffic in 2020. Also in 2020, work should be complete on the final 70km stretch of the 270km outer ring road around Xi'an.
