Once complete the bridge will provide a link between Changyuan County in Henan Province and Dongming County in Shandong Province. The 23.5km bridge deal is worth some US$604.22 million and the project will be carried out on a build-operate-transfer basis. Shandong Jean Goujion Investment Group will contribute the project capital, which accounted for 35% of the total investment value, while the remaining amount will be sought in loan form from local banks.
