The tender process for the vital Windsor-Essex Parkway 11km that links highway 401 in Ontario (Canada) with the US border through Michigan State is underway.

RSSThe tender process for the vital Windsor-Essex Parkway 11km that links highway 401 in Ontario (Canada) with the US border through Michigan State is underway. The US$1.6 billion project is for a 30 year build and operate contract and is attracting key bidders. Firms bidding include 917 ACS and 976 Acciona, 2378 Macquarie and 981 Hochtief, and 5792 HSBC Infrastructure, Bilfinger and 1378 John Laing. The work is due to start in 2011 and includes a bridge and a connection link to the US interstate system.
