California connection construction contract

In California construction is commencing on a connection called Cow Camp Road. Engineering work is being carried out on the project by Michael Baker International. The firm is handling Phase 2 of a contract by Rancho Mission Viejo LLC (RMV). The road will be located in south Orange County, California. Cow Camp Road. In California construction is commencing on a connection called Cow Camp Road. Engineering work is being carried out on the project by Michael Baker International. The firm is handling Phase 2 of a contract by Rancho Mission Viejo LLC (RMV). The road will be located in south Orange County, California. Cow Camp Road. This 6.4km stretch of highway will improve connections between Antonio Parkway and Ortega Highway (SR-74). The planned improvements will be carried out in Phases 2A, 2B, 2C and 2D. The work being handled includes design and construction of a 427m-long bridge over the Gobernadora Canyon and drainage improvements. It also includes design of the final portion of the Cow Camp roadway, with a 213m-long bridge over San Juan Creek and a connection to the busy SR-74 route.

This project is a continuation of work carried out in Phase 1. In 2012, Michael Baker handled engineering services for Phase 1 of the project including four intersections and a 427m-long, bridge structure spanning Chiquita Canyon. And in 2016, Michael Baker completed the Project Study Report (PSR) for Phase 2 of the project.
