Australia highway widening in Victoria

Australia’ Victoria State will see US$$548.5 million ($A711 million) being spent on widening and upgrading the Monash Freeway. This will be the second stage of the Monash Freeway upgrade project, building an additional two lanes.     Upgrade work looks set to commence on the Scandinavia Highway at the end of 2014. The design work for three of the highway stretches has been completed and preparatory work has commenced on the first section. The design work for the fourth and fifth sections will commence once the upgrade work is underway on the first, second and third stretches.
