A new highway project is due to start in Argentina.
Work will commence on an important new highway link in Argentina in mid-July 2022. The contract is due to be awarded in June 2022. The project is for an upgrade of the route 9 highway section linking the towns of Metan with Rosario de la Frontera in Salta Province. Construction work for the 36km highway upgrade is expected to cost US$112.75 million.
The work will improve transport in this area of southern Argentina, providing a key economic boost.
