The Autodesk Official Training Guide, is not just teaching the functionality of the programs says the company, but aims to show how the Autodesk infrastructure software workflows "can help owners and service providers on roads and highways improve productivity, optimise designs, and accelerate project approvals." Faresin Industries has expanded its telescopic handler range with the addition of the FH8.40 and the rotating Storm 22.45 evo. The FH8.40 sits in the range between the established FH7.45 and the FH9.30. The machine has a capacity of 4tonnes with a maximum lift height of 8m. Higher up the lifting scale, the Storm 22.45 rotating handler can manage up to 45tonne lifts, with a maximum height of 22m.
Liebherr has developed a hybrid drive system for its HS8300HD heavy duty cycle crawler crane. The 350 tonne machine generates electrical power from its hydraulic free-fall winches, which offer up to 50 tonnes of line pull. Under this Pactronic system surplus energy is stored in a hydraulic accumulator and regenerated to assist the engine, reducing fuel consumption. This reuse of energy also cuts emissions from the machine.
