The Autodesk Official Training Guide, is not just teaching the functionality of the programs says the company, but aims to show how the Autodesk infrastructure software workflows "can help owners and service providers on roads and highways improve productivity, optimise designs, and accelerate project approvals." The course simulates a roadways project from planning and design through visual communication and construction documentation using an integrated BIM workflow using the latest 3282 AutoCAD Civil 3D, Autodesk InfraWorks, Autodesk InfraWorks 360, and Autodesk Navisworks Manage software. Auction specialist IronPlanet has acquired Asset Appraisal Services (AAS), an inspection, appraisal and online auction services company. Asset Appraisal Services (AAS) has developed a range of creative remarketing offerings for its customers, including auction services. The company will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of IronPlanet and continue to use the respected Asset Appraisal Services name.
The provisional programme is now available for this year’s Euroasphalt and Eurobitume Event in Berlin. June 14-15.

The GCS Flex system is an important introduction for Trimble and Buick explained, “The idea is to install a less complex system. We want to attract customers from the smaller contractors.” Comparatively low cost for a machine-control system, the basic GCS Flex package offers entry-level 2D technology and it can be upgraded to what Buick calls a ‘2½D’ system.
