The Autodesk Official Training Guide, is not just teaching the functionality of the programs says the company, but aims to show how the Autodesk infrastructure software workflows "can help owners and service providers on roads and highways improve productivity, optimise designs, and accelerate project approvals." The course simulates a roadways project from planning and design through visual communication and construction documentation using an integrated BIM workflow using the latest 3282 AutoCAD Civil 3D, Autodesk InfraWorks, Autodesk InfraWorks 360, and Autodesk Navisworks Manage software. IJM, one of Malaysia’s largest construction conglomerates, has bailed out of a deal to buy the highways concession business SILK.
SILK Holdings, owner of the subsidiary SILK, Sistem Lingkaran-Lebuhraya Kajang, and IJM agreed to end the US$118 million takeover deal that was announced in June, the Sun newspaper reported.
SILK holds the concession for the 37km Kajang Traffic Dispersal Ring Road, also called the Silk Highway, until 2037. The road opened in 2004.

Hidromek has added long-reach options for three of its excavators – the HMK220LC, HMK300LC and the HMK370LC. Aimed at special earthmoving and drainage applications, the excavators carry LR branding and have ground level reach of 15.06, 18.19 and 16.6m respectively. Dynapac is introducing the CC1600 tandem roller for asphalt which features a state-of-the-art drivers’ platform and a water-cooled engine. It has vibratory drums as wide as 1,600mm, and is engineered primarily for asphalt compaction on streets and pavements in urban areas. It is also suitable for compacting sub-bases and base courses, and is adequate to follow a compact paver.
