    Caterpillar announced its EU Stage IV emissions solution at INTERMAT for C7.1 and C13 industrial engines. With power ratings from 116kW to 225kW, the 7.1litre six-cylinder C7.1 gets an SCR catalyst and diesel exhaust fluid dosing system as part of the exhaust after-treatment process.   • IRF promotes education and career development for road industry entrants

    The Fellowship Orientation and Executive Leadership Program of the Washington Program Center is now the IRF Road Scholar Program. It encompasses the ten-day Fellows' Orientation Program, the Executive Leadership workshop, and the brand new IRF career fair. This year, 25 students from 19 countries participated, bringing the 59-year-old program total to 1,180.

    CASE is challenging operators in Europe, Africa and the Middle East to demonstrate their skills in the CASE Rodeo final in Paris in October. Action-packed events will take place at the Paris CASE Customer Care Centre as operators compete for the title of CASE Rodeo Champion 2018. The competition kicked off in February, with the first heat in the Czech Republic followed by events in Italy, the UK, Sweden, the Netherlands, Norway and Denmark.
