As bauma winds down, CONEXPO-CON/AGG is heating up.
Officials of the Association of Equipment Manufacturers and other CONEXPO-CON/AGG organisers on Thursday offered a brief preview of what to expect in Las Vegas in 2017.
The show will be bigger than ever, with a 450,000m2 footprint, said Rich Goldsbury, AEM board member and the president of Bobcat North America and Oceania.
“It will be our largest show ever,” said Goldsbury, who spoke during a press conference at bauma.

The organisers of the CONEXPO-CON/AGG and IFPE exhibition from March 7th-11th 2017 are offering attendees in-depth industry education. In addition to exhibits, CONEXPO-CON/AGG and IFPE 2017 will feature, flexible education ticket options to fit attendee needs and schedules.

The Trimble Quantm alignment planning system, on show at CONEXPO/CON-AGG 2014, allows road designers to cut planning time and deliver projects with little environmental and social impact at a reduced cost. The system analyses millions of alignment alternatives and returns a range of options to the planning team for consideration. When new data becomes available the Quantm system can quickly recalculate more alignment options.
The Conexpo-Con/Agg and IFPE 2014 exhibitions are rapidly building momentum as the shows prepare to open their doors in six weeks.
Last week, the shows recorded their best week of registration ever and organisers’ say advance registration is tracking ahead of the last events.
The shows are already record-breakers for exhibit space – more than 213,676m² indoors and outdoors for Conexpo and Con/Agg and 14,864m² for IFPE – making it easier for attendees to connect with exhibitors.
