Wacker Neuson is bullish following its strong financial performance from worldwide operations. The company has seen steady demand for its compact equipment, aided by currency advantages plus strengthening interest in machine rental.
The Wacker Neuson Group reports strong growth in its business activities in its third quarter for 2019. There was a double-digit rise in revenue to €467.2 million, a growth of 12.4% over the €415.8 million recorded for the same period in 2018. However the EBIT ratio was slightly below the result for the previous year at €40.2 million, a drop of 4%.

Wacker Neuson has plans to open a new factory facility in China. The plant will be located in Pinghu, around 30km from Shanghai. It will be used initially to produce compact excavators for the local Chinese market. However the plans call for additional products to be manufactured as the operation gears up. It is expected that the first Chinese-made compact excavator will be built in early 2018.

Staged in a gravel pit near Munich in Germany, an event called The Wacker Neuson Universe recently enabled customers to check out the latest machines in the company’s growing product portfolio. On the compaction front, the highlights included electric rammers, two new reversing plates, an improved trench roller, a new range of lightweight tandem rollers and two small self-propelled single drum vibrating rollers.
