Sandvik Construction Mobile Crushers and Screens is officially launching two new additions to its product offering, a new heavy-duty scalper and a new Impactor model. Part of the Wirtgen Group, Vögele has benefited from the massive investment the company has made in all of its major manufacturing operations. The Hamm, Kleemann, Vögele and Wirtgen facilities in Germany have all been improved, with both Kleemann and Vögele now using brand new, purpose-built factories constructed on green field sites.
Caterpillar says that its new D8 dozer benefits from an improved cab design, with better visibility and ergonomics. The new operator station is the same as already seen on the D5-D7 models and benefits from a 15 °angled seat for better comfort.
This Next Generation machine also benefits from a wide range of Assist features and is Cat Grade 3D ready ex-factory. Customers also have the option to upgrade the system to the more sophisticated Cat Command Remote Control package.
