Terex Trucks steps forward with the new TA400 ADT

Terex Trucks has used bauma 2016 to launch its new Stage IV-compliant TA400 ADT. Weighing in at 38tonnes, the TA400 is the first and the largest of the company’s new generation 10 articulated dump trucks. The Volvo CE-owned manufacturer has added a new cab and the Scania engine uses the latest generation Selective Catalytic Reduction.

The company, now part of the Rolls-Royce Land & Sea division, has its first 10V1600 engine on display in Bomag’s BM2000 cold milling machine. With an output of 567kW, the 10V1600 is Stage IV/Tier 4 Final emissions compliant.

    Komatsu has upgraded its HM300 articulated dump truck (ADT) with the addition of a Tier 4 Final compliant diesel. The SAA6D125E-7 engine delivers 242kW, while also offering fuel savings over the model it replaces. The truck offers a 28tonne payload and weighs in at 53.5tonnes fully laden.
