  • Sennebogen upgrades 3300 E-series crawler crane from the ground up

    Sennebogen has revised its 125tonne crawler crane, the 3300, from the ground up and optimised it to meet Tier 4f emission standards. A 186-kW diesel engine and a multi-circuit hydraulic system power the 160-kN winch at rope speeds of up to 105m/min with ease. A Star Lifter crawler undercarriage adds stability and allows the rig to be driven under load.   • Liebherr boosts rough terrain cranes range

    Liebherr has extended its mobile crane product range with an additional series of rough-terrain cranes in the 90tonne and 100tonne classes. The LRT 1090-2.1 and LRT 1100-2.1 feature high performance, safety and comfort, according to the manufacturer which had the series in its range in the 1980s to the mid-90s – rough-terrain cranes with a lifting capacity of 25-80tonnes with the Liebherr designation LTL.
  • Hitachi digs deep in Paris

    A Hitachi excavator has enabled the creation of a subterranean six-floor car park in the centre of Paris. The ZX225USRLC-3 was used to dig deep below ground in the French capital and remove 65,000m³ of earth before construction of the facility could begin. For Saperfe Travaux Publics, a sub-contractor working on the project, the Hitachi machine was the only specialist equipment required. The clamshell telescopic arm of the ZX225USRLC-3 can reach depths of up to 25m.
  • Tadano unveils largest 2-axle rough terrain crane

    Tadano has extended its range of rough terrain cranes with the GR-1200XL, unveiled at CONEXPO-CON/AGG. The GR-1200XL is now the largest 2-axle crane in the company's rough terrain range. It offers a maximum lifting capacity of 120 tons and has a boom of 183.7 ft. Extra reach is provided by a jib which extends the lifting height to 241.4 ft, with a load radius of 153.8 ft.
