Liebherr is introducing its novel L 509 Tele, a telescopic wheeled loader model. The firm says that the machine offers a high lifting height and good handling capacity. Said to be a versatile all-rounder, the machine has been developed from the proven L 509 Speeder stereoloader.
Work on a new €1.7 billion coastal road is underway around France’s Reunion Island This new 12.3km highway (Route du Littoral) will have three lanes in each direction when it is complete in 2018. The new offshore highway connects Saint Denis, the administrative capital of La Réunion, with La Possession.
JCB has extended its telescopic handler range, with the addition of a heavy-duty machine that has been designed for tough operating conditions. The 560-80 has a two-stage boom capable of lifting 6,000kg (12,000lb in the US market) with a maximum working height of 8.1m (26’2”), with a 1,750kg (3,750lb for the US) load capacity at full forward reach.
