A single Tier 4 Final engine powers both of Manitowoc’s new Grove GMK5150L and GMK5250L all-terrain cranes. The company says that the concept was pioneered by Grove on its highly successful Grove GMK6400.
Manitowoc’s all-new GRT8100 launches the manufacturer’s Grove rough Terrain line.
The 90tonne GRT8100 is an update of the RT890E and has a 47m boom with a maximum tip height of 49m. With a full complement of boom extension and insert options, the crane has a reach up to 77m. The boom is lighter and longer than its predecessor, but has the ability to lift heavier loads.

Liebherr announced at the CONEXPO-CON/AGG exhibition in Las Vegas that the company is back in the rough terrain crane market after a 30-year absence. The Swiss-based company is focusing on the North American market with the launch of two mobile crane models, said Daniel Pitzer, head of Liebherr USA.
