All-round visibility for operators on jobsites is the key to Bomag’s new range of single-drum rollers – just some of the parent group’s 25 product launches at bauma 2016.
BOMAG’s BM2000/60-2 milling machine is the firm’s top-of-the-range planer, aimed at high production applications. Designed for highway milling applications the machine features a 2m wide cutting drum and 168 teeth in standard configuration, although other tooth spacing can be used depending on the application and duty. The BM2000/6-2 can cut to depths from 0-320mm deep and offers cutting advance rates of 0-40m/min, depending on the application, while power comes from a diesel rated at 440kW. Weighing in at
BOMAG has a new top-of-the-range stabiliser in the shape of its RS650 model. The firm also has a new designation for its recycler stabilisers and instead of the MPH models, these are now the RS machines. Power for the new RS650 comes from a diesel delivering 485kW and the model is said to offer a productivity increase of 10% over the earlier model. Earthmoving equipment manufacturer Dressta is launching the first of three new hydraulic crawler dozers later this year, and has ambitious growth plans funded by parent company LiuGong, the Chinese construction equipment manufacturing giant. Guy Woodford reports
Dressta’s trio of new hydraulic crawler dozers represent exciting additions to the dozer market and are the first results of parent company LiuGong’s significant R&D investment in the Polish firm, which it bought in 2012.

Productivity, power and precision are said to be key features of BOMAG’s top of the range BM 2200/75 milling machine. Power comes from a diesel delivering 567kW while the machine can mill widths of 2.2m and to depths of 350mm.
