The 2404 is a four-track system, offering operators the chance to go to 7.5m wide along with a wraparound platform which gives wonderful visibility – and gets Power Pavers into the DBI market. Meanwhile the 7700 is a multi-purpose machine which allows customers to pave up to 6m wide and has been well-received by customers

Two of the four are not powered by diesel; the manufacturer wants to offer its customers more cost effective machines as Tier 4 engines push the price of compressors up. “The price point of the T4 interim and T4 final is getting to the point that contractors are willing to accept alternative power solutions,” said Rus Warner, Doosan’s manager of global air products.
