A fleet of construction machines is working in a very tough climate in Canada, helping to keep an important road link open. Tsetsaut Ventures, a local contracting company, is using its fleet of Volvo CE equipment to maintain an 11km ice road that runs over the Knipple Glacier in the remote North Western region of British Columbia.

Italy saw sales of earth moving machinery climb 15% last year over that for 2016, according to Unacea, the Italian equipment association.
In 2017, 12,275 earth moving machines were sold, up 15% on a year-on-year basis, while road equipment grew by 5%, with 491 units. Total sales were 12,766.

Construction equipment sales in Italy jumped 22% year on year to reach 9,615 units over the first nine months of 2018.
